CloudConvert este un site şi un software online ce permite transformarea unui fişier cu (aproape) orice extensie într-un fişier cu extensia dorită. Serviciul este disponibil în mod gratuit şi permite utilizarea a 140 de tipuri de fişiere: audio, video, text, comprimate şamd.
Am testat softul şi se comportă rezonabil. Este încă în stadiu beta şi probabil că aceasta e o cauză pentru care durata transformării unui fişier depăşeşte câteva secunde.
CloudConvert promite să nu acceseze fişierele urcate pe serverele acestora pentru conversie. Acestea vor fi şterse imediat ce sarcina de transformare s-a încheiat.
La ce mai puteţi folosi CloudConvert? În cazul în care primiţi prin e-mail, pe care-l accesaţi de pe telefonul mobil, un fişier a cărei extensie nu poate fi deschisă de telefon. Puteţi utiliza CloudConvert pentru a transforma fişierul în extensia dorită.
